News Archive 2002-2004
Here are the news bits from the far past.
January 2004
Danna and Coffin Tales will be on a one-year hiatus while a long list of other things get taken care of. Come back in 2005!
New stories a'brewing...
We never know what's going to come out of this woman's head. Ms. Taylor is currently working on several intense (and of course disgusting) stories that are sure to make your eyes roll back in your head and your stomach start to curdle. Stay tuned to coffintales.com for more information as our favorite month gets closer.

Chiller Theatre
Thanks again to everyone who stopped by the Love Potion booth and picked up a copy of the book, as well as some of the Official Coffin Tales Bath Salts! Big thanks to Chiller as well as Mara Fox and Love Potion!
Our bath salts are done by our sister company, Southern Gothic Imports, and created by "The Southern Cat." The site has a front page up for now but in the next two weeks it will be up and selling!
We only have THREE copies of the "Have A Bite Stay The Night" limited edition left! After that they are GONE baby GONE! So order one now!
I am currently working on the follow up to "Have A Bite" that will include stories from "Have A Bite" and the sold out "Digging Begins." After that we will be releasing "Fairy Coffin Tales." The title for the NEW Coffin Tales collection is Coffin Tales Vol 1: Crypts And Creeps. Hopefully it will be ready for release later this year. Southern Gothic Imports will be the official manufacturer for all the Coffin Tales goodies and will also have some other amazing horror/metaphysical/perfume/bath products as well as some really cool new ideas and swag.
Keep in touch ghouls! Hopefully I will have some very exciting news to release soon!
Have a bite, Danna

New links
Coffin Tales has been added to HorrorFind.com and several other great horror sites. We appreciate it. We've also added a link on The Others to Dark Candles. It would definitely do you some good to check them out. Besides stories already in the works, several new bites are evolving that should leave you cringing. Stay tuned!

Apologies
I regret I will be unable to personally attend the Chiller Theatre expo in April due to scheduling conflicts. Merchandise will be available there though at the Love Potion #9 booth. Unfortunately these things happen.

Monsters Among Us convention
First of all, I had a great time at the Monsters Among Us convention. I want to thank the organizers and the staff. We're now featured at Dark Delicacies bookstore in Burbank, so if you're in L.A., swing by and get a copy while they last. I had a fabulous time hanging out with one of my personal screen idols, Reggie Bannister from the Phantasm movie series and spent some time with his wife Gigi, aka Vampi. Vampi did a review for us and it's up on the reviews section of the merchandise page. I want to thank all the fans who came by, picked up a copy and had such wonderful things to say. I even found out that many of them read the entire book the first night and couldn't put it down. Scared to sleep I would imagine. Big thanks to my props designer extraordinaire John Jones, aka Jones Bones. The man has the coolest weapons on the face of the earth. Spent some time with Brink Stevens and Scott, two great people who make some killer (ha ha ha) horror films. David Hess was a blast as usual and getting to hang out with Frank Dietz and Bernie Wrightson, two of the greatest horror artists around, was great. Spent a lot of time talking/slashing with Felissa Rose of Sleepaway Camp fame. Big thanks to Golden Apple Comics for all the support. Also had a visit at the booth by the owner of 1-800-AUTOPSY, hopefully we'll be spending some time on their slab. I couldn't have done it without one of my best friends as well as my representative, Mara Fox, who has some of the best wands around and is also an incredible musician. Make sure to check out the links section for some of our new friends and some old favorites. I also got to meet Tim Thomerson, who was the star of The Trancers movie series as well as a frequent guest on Xena: Warrior Princess, and also got a great photo of myself, Reggie Bannister and Scott Schwartz, who was a guest starring vampire on Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Doesn't get any better than that. Looking forward to seeing you all at one of the upcoming conventions. Looks like I'll be in L.A. around Halloween time, details soon to follow. I've got my own line of dark, mystical and magical novelties under the name of Southern Gothic Imports, so those will be up soon. Just remember, there's a little witch in all of us.
My blood, my flesh, my love, Danna B. Taylor.

Order page updated and streamlined
We've redone the order page to make it easier to deal with. We are also working on some new merchandise for later this year. Thanks to all who have already picked up your copy of Have A Bite Stay The Nite - we only have a small number left! If you want one, now is the time because they're almost gone.
